As a small rural community, it’s important to be looking out for each other and our community.
The Parish Council have decided that a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme should be started with the cooperation of the villagers. In June 2016 Phyllis Thorne agreed to act as Neighbourhood Watch coordinator to get the scheme underway. All households have been contacted and so far 33 residents have joined the scheme. It is hoped that new signage will be available soon indicating that the village is a Neighbourhood Watch area. Any appropriate alerts received from the Community Policing Officer will be communicated to members via e-mail and here on this website.
